Norwich Union shine:awards are a resource used by schools and clubs to recognise and reward personal athletics development. They cater for children of all abilities between the ages of 3 and 18, and also include specially tailored programmes for children with disabilities.

Coupled with innovative coaching videos, the awards help children learn and develop individual athletics skills through four levels of activity: 'play and learn', 'participation', 'getting better' and 'performance'. When used in conjunction with the Virtual Athletics league, schools can even assess their pupils against the rest of the UK.
