Helping those with disabilities achieve their sporting dreams

Each year many thousands of men, women and children become disabled. WheelPower, the national charity for wheelchair sport, helps these people and many others with disabilities to take part in sport.

WheelPower provides sporting opportunities at all levels, whether it is a young disabled person or someone who has recently become disabled. WheelPower provides training and competition in a wide variety of sports at its world class facilities at Stoke Mandeville Stadium, the national centre for disability sport and birthplace of the Paralympic Games.

By raising awareness and funds, and by building and maintaining the necessary facilities, WheelPower enables many disabled people to enjoy the tremendous physical and psychological benefits of participation in sport and to achieve their sporting dreams.
