New Nets is run by St Fagan's CC in Cardiff who want to invest in four new state of the art cricket nets, to help them to make an even greater contribution to cricket in Wales.
We’re investing £49,000 in four, state of the art cricket nets, to help secure the future for St Fagan`s CC and help us make an even greater contribution to cricket in Wales.
Our new nets will provide more practice and coaching facilities for our FIVE youth teams, and help us promote even more cricket for boys and girls at Wales` leading cricket club. St Fagan`s has already provided 8 players for Welsh national sides. We try to make a real contribution, but we know we need to do more.
We have over 100 junior members already. We accept girls and boys from 8 upwards. We provide junior cricket from U/11 to U/17. We provide free cricket for the ones who can’t afford to pay. And we have facilities for disadvantaged juniors. Not only that, we also make our facilities available to outside clubs. But it all costs money.
So we need help with our new nets, which will be completely enclosed with top class all weather surfaces and four bays. They will cost £49,000.
Please help! Your click could help make a real difference to tomorrow’s cricket in Wales.
£1000 would help us put this initiative on the public map. It would attract attention and encourage more smaller donations from all over. That`s 1000 clicks…
£12,500 would make a huge difference. It would trigger a “multiplication effect” by enabling us to ask specific donors to match what we have raised. We can do this now, but believe we will have more success by demonstrating our own fund-raising skills as well. 12,500 clicks….
£50,000 would hit the jackpot. We`d beat our own target. But we would invest any difference into making even more of a difference to Welsh cricket at St Fagan`s. So 50,000 clicks would change our world!
One more thing....
We`ll publish everything on a special scoreboard on our website, www.stfaganscc.co.uk. And of course, you could always come and see for yourself.
All of that for just one little click. Please help.
